About Yelling Rosa

I am retired. In my spare time I read, write, play the guitar and hike. I have published three verse books in Finnish and recorded my songs. You can listen to them on YouTube. I have translated some of my poems on Yelling Rosa's Weblog. I also like to watch movies. Olen kiinnostunut lukemisesta, kirjoittamisesta, kitaransoitosta ja luonnossa vaeltamisesta. Olen julkaissut kolme runokirjaa ja laulujani on äänitteillä. Voit lukea runojani Yelling Rosan kotisivuilta ja kuunnella laulujani YouTubessa. Olen elokuvafriikki.

Wow! I liked the way you wrote this poem. It is different, it says something about sexuality! Loved it Yellig Rosa.

Very well done, the poem is on of those longing, honest poems that make me appreciate words (and the emotion behind those words). Also, like the painting very, very much!

Yes, honesty certainly comes across in your poem and what is unusual is that the writer (you) is being honest with himself. All of the words are thoughts. I like the way it shows the thoughts of a person who has been so hurt by another, that instead of being cruel or angry, it makes him sensitive and kind. In America, not a lot of men would understand this, I think. One has to be devastated to be made better by sorrow.

Thank you. It’s always hard to give up for love but we can’t fight against the windmills. Aging is our destiny and it never comes alone. It brings changes to our lives.
