Le ruinate lamina
Quando io ambulava al strata,
Io videva un vagabundo folle,
Qui credeva in commatrages.
Ille voleva colpar su falce
In le cranio del victima,
Sed su stupiditate
Ruinava le lamina.
Al fin del ponte
Io incontrava un femina
Insan qui diceva a me:
Tu non trovara un tanto
Fatue persona del qual
Tu non poterea apprender
Alique utile.

Interlingua is an Italic international auxiliary language (IAL), developed between 1937 and 1951 by the International Auxiliary Language Association (IALA). I added some information on Interlingua at the end of this article. The Finnish language is not even the member of the Indo-European family, but you’re very welcome to use it.

Me gustaría saber diferencias y similitudes

Great poem! I know some Spanish, a tiny bit of Italian and Latin but I’ve never hear of Interlingua so this was a good way to learn something new.

Anche a me sembra che quest’interlingua deriva dall’italiano, even if some words seem more Spanish. Many thanks for introducing it to me!:) Viele Grüsse du Tessin. Martina

I like Interlingua because it is a bridge to all romance languages and helps me to understand English, which is not a coherent language, better. If you like to get to know the vocabulary better, you’ll find the English-Interlingua dictionary here: http://www.interlingua.com/an/ceid
