I sent this poem in response to you wishing me a smoother time. However, it is not possible to achieve them, but I can admit my limitations and it can be helpful when I do not strive for more than I can reasonably do.

Only Those in the Same Boat

Thank you for your answer and for your advice.
However, the balance is out of my reach.
Such is the life of a manic-depressed person.
Maybe the medications I eat cause insomnia,
Just perhaps low levels of melatonin.
The best thing to do is to admit own limitations
and find that sometimes even my own
Tongue is too heavy to move.

With using foreign languages I wanted to find
More readers to my particular thoughts
But only those who are in the same boat
Understand my rhymes
And they are not many.
People like me are
Ashamed and do
Their best
To be like
Others
But I’m
Done.

I have reached the point where I must admit that using all the languages I have used on this blog is too heavy for me. I am on my best when I am using Finnish, and those people who are on the same radio waves find me even when I use my language.

I leave this blog here because of UR- links and continued on my Website and my Finnish blog with Google Translator. I have been thinking of skipping the like buttons, but I don’t how else I can know who has visited my places. It is impossible for me to contra like all the people at least if there are so many likes in the future as it has been here on Yelling Rosa Weblog.

THANK YOU FOR ALL MY READERS, AND I HOPE WE WILL MEET AGAIN IN MORE RELAXED ATMOSPHERE!!! IT HAS BEEN WONDERFUL TO BE WITH YOU HERE.

    Thank you for giving us impulses here in your blog. I understand you want to feel comfortable and safe with your own language, it is essential. Finnish is a beautiful language, the sound of it anyway. Stay with the beautiful things in life. I wish you all the best.

    Y. R, you are courageous and you should not worry about being different. The beauty is in that. Similis simili gaudet. So, yes, people ought to be in similar shoes and order to understand the others. Everyone suffers for or from something.

    I wish you peace and harmony in your soul and appreciate very much everything you’ve done so far. I hope the future time will bring you many inspiration in expressing your thoughts. Be what you are and stay well. 🙂

    Poetry is a challenge in one’s native tongue. Composing a poem in a language that is not one’s own is an impressive achievement. I say bravissima!

    Last night my husband and I watched a series on Amazon Prime called “Modern Love.” Episode 3 starred Anne Hathaway and was about a woman who was bipolar. It really gave us a feel of what life is like for someone with this disorder, and how difficult yet important it is to let people know your struggles. I know, however, that unless we are “in the same boat” we will never fully understand what you go through. But I can pray for you, and I will.

      Perhaps one day you enter my new camp and listen to language in which only 5 million people speak. My new home has funrnitured with Google Translator.

      PS We Karelians are also native people, but our territory doesn’t even belong to us anymore. We were evacuated (Forced to leave our homes) from Karelia in 1944. I am born here in Finland. Karelia is a part of Russia at the moment. Perhaps this shows whatever I do.

      The basic Finns, who moved during centuries westward from Karelian before us, have underrate our destiny by saying that we are Finns like them.
