Like the Radiance of Phoshporus

Like the radiance of phosphorus
glows a fireweed
on the clean-cutting square.
Its love joins together
to the darkening night
of wood.

Here below is embedded mp3 file A Fireweed from my Website. It might come on the screen a bit later than the poem itself. Please, be patient.

From now on, I will recite my poems on Poems page.

Insomnia

I do walk
in my sleep
a timorous rest
of the night
away.

About Yelling Rosa

I am retired. In my spare time I read, write, play the guitar and hike. I have published three verse books in Finnish and recorded my songs. You can listen to them on YouTube. I have translated some of my poems on Yelling Rosa's Weblog. I also like to watch movies. Olen kiinnostunut lukemisesta, kirjoittamisesta, kitaransoitosta ja luonnossa vaeltamisesta. Olen julkaissut kolme runokirjaa ja laulujani on äänitteillä. Voit lukea runojani Yelling Rosan kotisivuilta ja kuunnella laulujani YouTubessa. Olen elokuvafriikki.

Yes, thanks for having me. My visit was pleasure as your poems are successfully down to earth.

I will keep on writing here but as you know English is not my mother tongue. Sometimes it takes time to figure out how things should say in English because of the language differences but also the culture background has own demands. The manners vary there and here. Fortunately people all over the world have many things in common.
