At the beginning of times they were enemies and fought for the authority of the earth. The Faun is the lord of the ice and the Dandelion Fairy rules the warmth. It took a long, long time before they realized that if one of them will be the single sovereign the other one will die. During the controversy they became attached to one another, even though they won’t ever say it aloud. In the world there weren’t any other living creatures first. Finally they decided to create two new seasons, that’s it spring and autumn. It made the growth of flora possible. And the degree of latitude they have always lived formed the northern conifer zone. There they keep in touch with each other. In spring time and in autumn but the winter is too cold for the Fairy and summer too hot for the Faun.

They have fun at cost of people. They don’t understand how the mythologies portray fauns and fairies. The Faun is not an animal and the Fairy is not a bird. Fairy has a weakness for sweet. She couldn’t fly even she wanted so. The Faun has made up the prefix dandelion. She has accepted the nick name because she really prefers dandelions to other flowers. They don’t utter the sort of one another without the definite article because they are one and only real things on earth and that’s the way it will be forever, or at least as long as there is the universe left. They are very proud spirits. By the way, the Fairy teases the Faun with the nickname icicle. Often she adds the letter t at the end of the word to emphasize the smallness of the Faun. Although the Faun is a tall fellow.

Nowadays they are uneasy about the carbon dioxide emissions. They really like to live twice as long as they have lived already, and much more. Life is so sweet without quarrels. Anyway, one thing they have adopted from people. They are accustomed to sending Valentine’s Day cards because they can’t meet in winter. This year they stand before their wonder wood. The Faun has the cool winter day whereas The Fairy spends her time in summer evening. The Dandelion Fairy hates clothes.

Because our creatures are aware of the importance of the public relations, they have dealt out their Valentine’s Day cards in the hope that people will forward them all over the world. They know that the moderation is the only durable solutions. Their example indicates it. You find their cards here.

Some people find it scary; some think it is an interesting development. In this case I won’t speak out. Let the picture speak for itself.

This incident has made me think of changing the company. On the other hand, I must consider if I could manage with the less volume. My web activities don’t bring me any money at the moment. In that sense, it could be a good idea of pondering if I moved on using free blogs or web space. For example, WordPress hands over 3 gigabytes free space. It is true, that I hadn’t tested would there be difficulties especially with music and how the stories could be read on that platform. All right, I have one month to make up my mind. At the end of January next year, I must renew my web hosting contract with the present company or with the new one, or give up the paid web space. Perhaps I hastened last year when I rented web space but at that time I didn’t know that there are Internet commission companies that could sell eBooks. I thought I must do it all by myself and would need a customer roll on my data base. That’s why I needed a web space where I am allowed to use PHP language and MySql. (Luckily, I haven’t got that far yet.)

But let’s us skip from one subject to another.

I always design at least two versions of my cards. The first one should be used as it is and others are made of your own signature or signature and greetings. The caption of the card tells how you should deal with the card. In order to keep things simple I am recommending that you download a free photo editing software. PhotoScape is very easy to operate and you can assign outline and fill for the letter. It’s true that there are no layers on PhotoScape, but you can do a lot of things without them. If you have become accustomed to some other photo editing software, naturally, you choose that one. Here you can download Photoscape.

At the moment, there are three dissimilar Christmas cards in my Free Postcard folder. Below is an example of one of the card sets. The first card should be used as it is, the second one is an example how you should adjust your greetings on the card and the third one is the template you will use when you add your greetings and name. You are free to make up your own Season Greetings with the color and font you like but you are not allowed to change the layout otherwise. The card is free for a private use as long as the name of designer is not covered up.

Perhaps, you are content with the ready-made-choice. Being so, you can download the card to your computer and insert the card to your email text area. It can be done by placing the mouse cursor on the text area of your email and choosing the Insert menu from the bar and then clicking on the Picture command. This will open your Windows Explorer Dialog box from where you can pick a card. This guarantees that card is a part of the email message and not the attachment. When the card is on the text field, you can easily add your message and signature below the picture.

Let’s have a Merry Christmas!

This came to my mind, when I read some news papers and magazines this Sunday. People assured there that they won’t give up in any occasion, no matter what. Undeniably, this is a case, but the destiny doesn’t give a damn to our perseverance and diligence. If everything goes fine, the positive features can conduce to our success, but only then. The volition can lead us to unexpected situation. In the middle of this uncertainty our belief in the better future is comforting. Evidently, it is the secret behind of our triumph, not the intelligence which has helped us to become to rulers of the creation. You know, that also rulers will fall down and their heads drop down to the execution basket. The belief is hard to kill. Obviously, it will be soaring in the air after the man has exterminated. It can be so that the belief in the better future belongs to all organic, but animals and plants don’t have our resourcefulness.

Before Santa went to bed, he thought over that the colours of caring and brotherhood are all over the world the same. “I wish I could tell this to everybody”, he mumbled aloud. When Santa told about his desire to his inventive Brownie in chief, the assistant manager discovered to print a postcard where Santa would pose with tapestries on the background and reveal his wish to the whole world. Father Christmas agreed the proposal with pleasure. ”It’s a stroke of good fortune that the exertion of girls won’t get wasted. They must have worked around the clock all year long”, Christmas Father thought just before he went to sleep.

The Brownie in chief took over the designing of the card. Santa became so inspired by the idea that he decided to make himself smart. When he posed for an artist, the Brownie in chief, Santa has the cape and head-dress that he has got from Anne, Queen of Great Britain, in 1705, on. The clothing was the special delivery for Santa. The red cape has the ermine collar and head-dress is made from blue fox. When Father Christmas got the clothing he didn’t get enthusiastic about it. Now he felt that this is a right occasion to wear it. After all, it was an indication that he was trusted long ago by everyone in spite of classes.

During the centuries times have changed. When Santa got his royal outfit there were no pollution or nuclear weapons. Of course, there were problems like a poverty and famine. For all that they were of a temporary nature whereas the nuclear war and global warming are definitive issues. That’s why Santa thinks that we need the reciprocal understanding. If the inhabitants of the world only remembered how alike people are everywhere and that their biggest hope is to give and get love, the world would be a much better place to live. Then there would be no need to argue about or afraid of each other because our neighbours want the same things as we do.

Santa sent also to me the card, which the Brownie in chief has made and hoped that I would forward it. I believe that Father Christmas has sent his appeal and will send similar cards all over the world and hope us to deal them with one another. It shouldn’t be difficult when we recall that we are all the same like two berries. Santa is encouraging us with these words:

At this Christmas
Turn on the Light
of Love
and let them shine
ever after
and you will see
the Colours of Brotherhood
are alike
all over the world.

Many things can be improved with understanding and care but the miserliness is almost an incurable disease. It progresses gradually with unfortunate incidents and is wrapped in many rational arguments. They sound very fair and rightful and sooner than we know we are demand payment from our fellowmen instead of giving them any settlements. All goes more than fine when some of our go citizens set about flattering our course of actions. They also want to get share of the new legitimate of rationalization. This goes on and on if anything doesn’t raise a question in our mind. Besides, this deal can work without ruin a soul. The problem comes forward if we start to be in conflict with the conscience or loves one.

In that case we have to take another course to get what we want or adjust our manners and values but it is not so easy after becoming accustomed to respect that arises from our incomes and our position in our neighborhood, moreover, we have worked hard to get our place in the sun. How anyone can expect something else from us. “They should make their own life better”, we easily can sniff. But for all those point of views we can feel our life is not complete. Often we think that we should work harder and get more things to give satisfaction to our needs. That’s how we have been raised.

It is out of question that we would act on the contrary: slow down and listen to what others are willing to say, what they are thinking. Probably, we don’t respect their opinion because they draw life near from the strange angle and waste their time by thinking useless things, things, that won’t maintain standard of living on but if we stop, thinking the world has always been a place of many lines and characters. It is the abundance that can’t be bought and it won’t come to an end with oil because the diversity has exited a long time before the first steam-engine was invented and will last long after all the gadgets have gone, assuming of course that sun keeps warming up the world and climate won’t grow hostile to us.

All in all, the money is after all the agreement. Its purpose was to make our living easier and prevent the misconceptions. Little by little, it has got features we have almost started to look the money upon as a living creature. It is supposed to be an answer to human relations or at least the ruler to measure out the right and wrong, to return a verdict on dispute. Unfortunately, the money hasn’t learnt to think and it doesn’t have a heart. It’s still our job to admit responsibility for dealing the prosperity of mind and body. It won’t come along with the hard work but understanding. When we take away from our fellowmen, we make us happy but when we give something from our own we make everyone happy. Shortage of the loving heart can’t be obtained with holding firm to sense but appealing to our heart. To make it rich will built up the bridge over the financial depressions. The heart won’t get poor when we are decrepit with age. The wealth of heart is asking forbearance because it is not the simplest thing to build up thinking from scratch. Believe me, I know what I have gone through and there is still much to do. I have put these reflections in a nutshell in the following way
